There's a moment when you realize that eating well, doing everything right, and still feeling completely wrong isn't a willpower problem

I found that out the hard way.

After the birth of my daughter I was depressed, exhausted, constipated, and completely unlike myself — despite eating well and doing everything I thought I was supposed to do. My conventional doctor suggested I wait and see.

I did not agree. And that turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made.

That decision led me to a Naturopath who actually listened. Who ran comprehensive blood chemistry instead of offering reassurance. Who looked at the full picture of what was happening inside my body rather than the surface of my symptoms. That's when everything changed — I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and finally had a real answer to work from.

What struck me wasn't just the diagnosis. It was the process that found it. The honest data. The thorough questioning. The genuine listening. The willingness to go deeper than the obvious.

I realized I'd spent years chasing aesthetics with diets — focused more on how I looked than how I actually felt. My own experience humbled me and redirected me completely. I stopped following borrowed protocols and started learning how to read what my body was actually saying.

I stay consistent, not perfect. But I finally felt like myself again — and I knew I couldn't keep that to myself.

That's what sent me deep into Functional Medicine. Not as a trend.

What I Bring to This Work

I'm a National Board Certified Health Coach and Holistic Nutritionist with an MBA in International Business. But credentials alone have never been what I'm most proud of.

What I'm most proud of is who I chose to learn from.

I sought out mentorship and practitioner training under Drs. Bryan and Julie Walsh — and I remain in their mentorship program today. Not because I have to. Because staying genuinely informed, supported, and laser focused on getting this right for my clients is non-negotiable to me. My clinical education includes Functional Blood Chemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, Functional Laboratory Testing, Ultimate Weight Loss, Cell Blueprint, Dietary Supplement Certification through Design for Health, Certification in Diets for Health Conditions through IFM, and ongoing advanced training.

I use comprehensive blood chemistry and thorough scientific assessments as the foundation of every client relationship — because real answers require real data, not assumptions.

Why I Built Hermosa Wellness

I got tired of watching people jump from trend to trend, diet to diet, supplement to supplement — getting more overwhelmed and more confused with every attempt. More information was making things worse, not better. And underneath the overwhelm was something even more painful — the feeling of being completely unsupported in figuring out what was actually true for their specific body.

That's the gap I built Hermosa Wellness to fill.

Not another program. Not another protocol. A genuine, data-driven, deeply personal process of understanding yourself — your biology, your patterns, your body's specific language — so completely that you stop needing to borrow someone else's answers.

Like a pearl forming inside a shell — the most valuable thing was never on the outside. It forms from within. Layer by layer. Through honest data, root cause clarity, and real self-knowledge.

I'm a mom of two amazing children, I walk the walk and talk the talk. My kids are watching and learning every day — and I couldn't be prouder of that. The way I eat, move, think about my body, and care for my health isn't separate from my life. It is my life.
